Jackson Park Plaza Celebrated Groundbreaking Ceremony

Great times are coming to Edinburg, so it is the city of choice for a new shopping center.  Lord & Gonzalez LP, the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, the City of Edinburg and the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, December 4th for the construction of Jackson Park Plaza – Edinburg’s newest shopping center.


The groundbreaking ceremony took place from 4:00 until 6:00 pm with official groundbreaking at 5:00 pm. This event celebrated the construction of Edinburg’s newest shopping center. The Jackson Park Plaza is located in Edinburg’s progressive west side. The location on Jackson Road between Hwy 107 and Sprague Street is near Edinburg’s latest and newest business developments.


The proposed shopping center is designed to meet Edinburg’s architectural requirements and will be complemented by beautiful landscaping featuring native plants and shrubs. Jackson Park Plaza will be built on three acres and will have 34,400 square feet of rental space with twenty two (22) retail spaces and plenty of parking spaces. Current tenants under contract include National Lube Express, X-Trim Hair Salon and A La Casa Communications.Also under consideration are several restaurants.
