1st Annual Mission Chamber of Commerce Home Ownership Workshop

Mission -Saturday, June 13, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Women's Business Center (WBC), along with Mission Chamber of Commerce, Cornerstone Mortgage, Southwest Community Investment Corporation, Security Land Title and Mary Lou Henry Real Estate, present the Mission Chamber of Commerce 1st Annual Home Ownership Workshop.  The event will be held at the Mission Chamber of Commerce, located at 202 W. Tom Landry in Mission.
 
Whether an individual is planning on renting or buying, the free Home Ownership Workshop attendees will have an opportunity to visit with various housing industry representatives who can provide them with the answers and resources for their home ownership questions.
 
The workshop topics will address: Home Buying Process and Contracts; Home Inspection; Engineering and Surveying; "Green Homes"; Specifications and Plans; Mortgages; Title Insurance and Closing Process. The Home Ownership Workshop will be free to the public.  Free prizes and door prizes will be provided.  There will also be exhibitors and informational booths available.
