

Texas Border Business
The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Foundation, in conjunction with the McAllen Hispanic Chamber and the College of Business at UT-Pan American will hold its regional BizFest program and business plan competition from July 30 to August 1st at UTPA.
BizFest is an innovative and intensive entrepreneurial training program where high school juniors and seniors learn how to channel their interests and passion into profitable ventures through entrepreneurship and leadership. Sponsored by Citi and delivered by UTPA faculty, BizFest is a signature program of the USHCC Foundation.
Winners of BizFest will be able to attend the USHCC National Convention scheduled for September 22nd thru the 25th in Dallas, Texas. Interested junior and senior high school students are invited to apply through accessing program information and application materials at http://www.coba.utpa.edu/media/bizfest. Enrollment is limited to 30 students. Students are encouraged to register no later than July 28th.
