El Paso, Texas – As a part of its continued efforts to expand services to the communities it serves, the City of El Paso Department of Public Health will be bringing its resources to the people in and around the Vinton area for an outreach service event. It will take place:
Thursday, August 26, 2010
West Valley Fire Station
510 East Vinton Road
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Programs that will be participating with free and reduced cost services include; Dental, Family Planning, HIV and STD Prevention, Immunizations, Public Health Preparedness, Ventanilla de Salud, WIC and 2-1-1.
“Our Department remains committed to not only the residents within the city limits, but to those who live in the other communities we serve” said Michael Hill, Health Director. “We hope this event will bring awareness to those who live in Vinton so that they benefit from our services and take proactive steps toward ensuring their well-being” he said.
