Mercedes --- Public meeting of the Lower Rio Grande Citizens Forum of the U.S. Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC), USIBWC Conference Room, 325 Golf Course Road in Mercedes meeting will be held on July 18, at 5:00 p.m. Presentations will discuss the potential for biological control of Salt Cedar and Giant Reed, an analysis of fresh water inflows to coastal environments, and the Arroyo Colorado Flood Control Enhancement Project in the Harlingen Area.
