BROWNSVILLE --- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will host an information session for the deferred action for childhood arrivals process from 4- 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22 in The Arts Center at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College.
USCIS staff from the Harlingen field office will provide information on the process by which certain young people who came to the United States as children may request deferred action, provide details on the forms to be submitted and take questions.
On Tuesday, Aug. 15, USCIS began to accept requests for the deferred action for childhood arrivals process. Information on the new guidelines can be found at uscis.gov
The Arts Center is located on Taylor Drive across from the Oliveira library. TBB
